Our family has been eating here since it opened. It’s a very busy restaurant so the service may be slower at times. Be reassured the food is amazing and this is Crowthorne best curry house Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
NOT INDIAN CUISINE AT ALL! Horrific experience! They themselves said they are a bunch of Bangladeshi people trying to experiment with Indian cuisine. Ordered lemon rice with literally pieces of lemon skin in it. When told the the chef or the manager about this. They said if you don 't like, don 't come, this is how we make and people like it , that 's atrocious!!!?? (maybe they like it because they have never had Indian cuisine in their entire life). First of all this isn 't the right way to speak to your customers second, selling inedible food (made up by yourselves) in the name of Indian cuisine is ridiculous! Third, it doesn 't even take 2mins to watch a YouTube video and learn how to make lemon rice? Learn first, it takes lesser time than you chopping the inedible lemon skin pieces and adding it in the rice. Please change your tag line to Bangladeshi Cuisine going forward. Never visiting ever AGAIN! Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Best Indian restaurant in the area. Great for dine-in and takeaway. Big range of standard and more unusual options. Keema Lamb Rice and Chana Masala are family favourites. Friendly staff. Excellent value and portion size. Handily located next to the Hive craft beer bar. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section, Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: (Chana) Chick pea masala is delicious
This is our favourite Indian in the area, however we had a pretty ordinary experience last night with a takeaway to entertain friends. Ordered online via their App at about 5.30pm for a 7.30 delivery. Food arrived (most of it anyway, one main dish missing) at approaching 9.30 after two calls from us to the restaurant and one from the delivery driver lost at about 9.15. No apology or acknowledgement that they were even late. Appreciate it’s a busy Saturday evening but a simple call would have been nice. Basic customer service skills and expectation management completely lacking last night. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 4 Service: 2
