Have been here many times since I knew this place 3yrs ago, Nishiki still remains the best yakiniku buffet in my own ranking. The sashimi choices are quite a few, and now they also added the grilled scallop sushi into the buffet menu, which is so good as that's my favourite =P
The wagyu beef maybe not as good as before, but still tasty enough for me. Well, the fresh sashimis and ox tongue can make up for that anyway... View all feedback.
What Ilene Quitzon doesn't like about Nishiki Wagyu Yakiniku:
We went to Nishiki for my boyfriend's birthday dinner. We only went to Nishiki because Yakiniku and Suminoya were booked out, and Nishiki is walking distance to my place. I chosed the buffet called all you can eat but I did not get all I was ordered. People working there will avoid you, or give you the look after an order was made. It's not a budget buffet, I didn't get what I paid, I was very disappointed and will ne... View all feedback.
Wow what an amazing experience. One of the better JBBQ places I’ve visited in Sydney. It’s a small restaurant with only 6 tables so booking is a must. They are fully booked even on weekdays! Customer service is great enthusiastic and always willing to help. You order using a QR Code. We did the all you can eat buffet but they also offer an a la carte option. <br/ <br/ The quality of everything in this restaurant is superior. The wagyu meat is tender, fatty and rich in flavour on its own. My favourite has to be the outside skirt and the rib finger just so juicy. We ordered almost everything on the menu to try and the sashimi quality was amazing. I also really enjoyed the salmon yukki it was chopped salmon sashimi with a poached egg. So naturally sweet and refreshing. Honestly cannot fault anything in this restaurant. I secretly loved how you could order more than one ice cream scoop per person because this is usually restricted at most JBBQ places I’ve been to. The sesame ice cream was so soft and authentic. I ate so much this time my stomach hurt after...no regrets though! The only thing I wish was included in the pricing was drinks. This is usually the case in other places I’ve visited. Otherwise, still highly recommend.
I went there last night with my boyfriend for his birthday, spending two hours there for the buffet recommended by a friend of mine, and we were both very happy with the food and service provided! I am a big fan of seafood and Wagyu beef and this place has the combination of both dishes, and it’s all you can eat buffet, a dream has come true! We ordered assorted sashimi, which was really fresh and we particularly like salmon and king fish sashimi. For the barbecue we ordered all sorts of wagyu beef and some seafood, it was absolutely beautiful! The wagyu beef doesn’t have a **** taste at all, it’s so marbled that it melts in your mouth, it’s the best wagyu beef I have ever had in Sydney. This is an authentic Japanese restaurant, the boss and a few staff we met were all Japanese with good English, the service was superb, attentive and friendly! I am so happy with Nishiki so that I am writing my first ever review on Zomato!
Very impressed by the quality of the food! All you can eat KBBQ for $76.90 per person is available Friday to Sunday. The wagyu outside skirt was a particular standout to me however I would recommend any of the wagyu cuts on offer if you’re looking for bang for your buck. The oysters are also a good choice but keep in mind there is a limit of 2 per person. I also loved the takoyaki, the seared salmon nigiri sushi, wagyu yukke, and chicken karaage. Desserts were decent though it was quite obvious that they were store bought.<br/ <br/ If you'd like to read more of my reviews, please check out my Zomato page and visit @cynthiaeats_ on Instagram for more photos!
I wish I could eat here daily. I love Wagyu beef. The Nishiki premium Wagyu beef platter is incredible. Match it with a bottle of red and all the side dipping sauces and you have your self the best dinner! Love this place.
I enjoy dining at this place from time to time. Very nice place with high quality wagyu meats. I believe the time limit is 110 minutes but order must be made within the first 70 minutes.<br/ <br/ Although the foods are good and no complaints on the quality but price wise, $74.90 for buffet on weeknights is a bit on a high side for me. Expect to pay more on Friday and weekend.<br/ <br/ I find the fire is too slow and didn't cook fast enough and always be mindful of the time limit and wagyu meats always come out last so make sure you order more in your first order (than less) as I feel the quantity is not as much as I would have expected.<br/ <br/ Other Yakiniku place, such as, Nikaido and Koh-Ya, although the meats may not be as premium, but they do offer value for money and equally satisfying feeling.<br/ <br/
