Have you had the kurtosh fever yet? I have finally tick this off from my bucket list last night. Pistachio and caramelized hazelnut flavour are amazing. Having nutella with kurtosh sounds so evil at 9pm. Follow my instagram @cissythescorpio for more restaurants recommendation View all feedback.

Having been to other Kurtosh branches before I knew what to expect. Have learn by now to stick to smaller pieces, as I've always underestimated the grammage vs size. Tried the hazelnut chocolate truffle. It was nicely layered, with distinct flavours and textures for each layer, well balanced not too sweet yet indulgent. The coffee was ok, a little too bitter.
Kurtosh was specialised in Hungarian desserts and pastries. The place felt so comfortable, cozy, relaxing and homey...in the counter, there were lots of different sorts of cakes that you can choose from, also they sold by weight! Even a tiny piece and mix&match would be fine too! Loved the concept! #mud cake#-coated with chocolate ganache and chocolate flakes, very soft and moisture, strong chocolate flavours and less sweet than normal mud cake. #baked cheesecake#-little dry on the top, tasted like cake; became more moisture towards to the bottom. Creamy, cheesy, also little bit eggy. The texture was similar to Japanese cheesecake. Also, it is not too sweet. #strawberry sponge cake#-light and fluffy sponge cake and layered with fresh whipped cream and strawberry pieces. It was very classic sponge cake, but so light and airy, not very sweet! I just love it!
Overall, not a bad place at all! though the place is a bit small, the lighting a bit dim and the tables don't fit more than 3 people (though we squished 4 people into one small circular table), the food makes up for it! the price of cakes are based on ewight so you have to be willing to pay more because they don'trlly say how much a 'regular portion' slice is which is a bit dodgy and same with their cookies (we got a chocolate cookie which was $2.93) and theyonly have signs for their kurtosh so that was a pretty annoying part of it - they should at least put up signs about how much 100g of cake is!!!!! the kurtosh was quite nice (we had the pistachio) for $8.50 and it was freshly baked and took roughly 10mins because they only have one or two ready to go for each flavour but it was nice and warm when it came out :) they also had a plate of free samples which was nice but we didn't take any
Great coffee - Hot, rich and smooth. Friendly service. Cakes and Pastries that go on for miles. Relaxed, rustic surrounds with chilled floaty music.
