The server was v... read more I was hanging with family and visited BBR in mid afternoon on a Saturday. There were 7 of us. A small group does present challenges to service. The server was very attentive and responsive to deficits in service. The meals served tasted great, butthe food quality was mixed. The egg rolls were ordered as appetizers. Two orders were placed and only one was served. Thechicken tenders were overcooked. The teriyaki salmon and pork chops were delicious. For responsiveness, the server gets a 5. Food quality, 4. Meal flavors, 5.

When we menti... read more The Philly beef sandwich was fantastic, and the Southern fried chicken salad was very tasty. However, the Reuben sandwich was quite disappointing. When we mentioned this to the server, she offered to replace it, but we declined, so she kindly removed it from our bill.

I also had the potato boats, which were enormous and perfectly crispy. The flavor was outstanding throughout the meal. I would rate it a 10/10 and will definitely come back the next time I'm in the Crossville area.

While the exterior leaves a... read more I was searching for a nice place to enjoy dinner with my family on a Sunday afternoon, and we decided to give Beef and Barrel a try. While the exterior leaves a bit to be desired and the interior isn't overly fancy, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The menu features a fantastic selection, and I chose the prime rib. I ordered a 10 oz cut, but it seemed significantly larger—definitely more than 10 oz! It was by far the most tender and juicy prime rib I've ever had, perfectly seasoned and needing no additional enhancements. Although I did enjoy some horseradish on the side, which is a must for me when I have prime rib. The salad and baked potato were average; the salad could have used more toppings. However, the prime rib was so outstanding that I will certainly be back. There's a bar area in the back, so if you prefer a quieter dining experience, I recommend asking not to be seated there. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Doniell... read more I decided to visit this restaurant on a whim while heading back to Nashville, and I'm so glad I did. The flat iron steak with chimichurri was fantastic! Donielle offered excellent service. I can’t wait to dig into the homemade German chocolate cake I ordered to take home. I’ll definitely stop by again the next time I'm in the area!
