Pine Peaks - Crosslake
Pine Peaks
Description
Despite some positive experiences, recent visits to this restaurant have left diners frustrated. Orders for scrambled eggs were repeatedly mistaken for omelets, while service was lacking in attentiveness and friendliness. In contrast, the hashbrowns were praised as some of the best in the state. The overall ambiance of the local spot with a gift store was noted as a positive aspect. However, a lunch visit proved disappointing with dirty dishes, poorly maintained menus, and cold, stale food. Inconsistent service and quality appear to be ongoing issues at this establishment.

We enjoy coming to this restaurant for breakfast. The hashbrowns are freshly made and some of the best in Minnesota. It's a wonderful local spot with a fun gift store attached!
Christie is an amazing waitress! Despite having numerous tables to serve, she skillfully attended to everyone's needs. Our breakfast included pancakes, eggs, a three-meat skillet, and fried French toast. The standout dish was the three-meat skillet, which combined delicious meat and cheese flavors with hand-shredded hash browns. It was absolutely delicious!
Food is delicious love the salad bar and breakfast buffet in the summer months. Service is wonderful.
Twice I went to order scrambled eggs and I got what looked like an egg omelet….first time I thought, ok…let it go. Yesterday we were there and it happened again…when the waitress served us not happily I must say) I told her I ordered scrambled eggs…she rudely said they are scrambled…she never came back to the table so we could tell her potatoes were not cooked and we needed condiments…she finally showed up when she brought the bill…I don’t get it…if they can put scrambled eggs in the breakfast buffet which they don’t always have) why can’t they make a separate order??
