twice I went to order a touch and got what looked like an egg omelet. the first time I thought, okay, let it go. when the waitress didn't serve us happy, I have to say) I told her I ordered a touch. she said rudely that they are confused. they never came back to the table so that we could say that their potatoes were not cooked and we needed condiments. she finally showed up when she brought the bill. Twice I went to order scrambled eggs and I got what looked like an egg omelet….first time I thought, ok…let it go. Yesterday we were there and it happened again…when the waitress served us not happily I must say) I told her I ordered scrambled eggs…she rudely said they are scrambled…she never came back to the table so we could tell her potatoes were not cooked and we needed condiments…she finally showed up when she brought the bill…I don’t get it…if they can put scrambled eggs in the breakfast buffet which they don’t always have) why can’t they make a separate order??
The worst biscuits and gravy I have ever had. The so called meat tasted and resembled dog food. The biscuits were not fully cooked. Very sad
I just went there for lunch today and it was an awful experience. From start to finish. The water glass looked as if it hadn't been washed from the last customer, the menu had dried food on it and was greasy feeling, it took 15 minutes for my waitress to come back and ask what I wanted to order and my food arrived cold and stale. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! YUCK!!!!!!
We enjoy coming to this restaurant for breakfast. The hashbrowns are freshly made and some of the best in Minnesota. It's a wonderful local spot with a fun gift store attached!
A must-visit and local tradition in Cross Lake! I am never disappointed.
