Thanks for still making delicious food during quarantine. I've been cooking almost exclusively at home now but make the exception to venture out for Fin's. Their lunch bento boxes are such a good deal and comes with a lot of food. Here's a picture of my cat enjoying a piece of your salmon. View all feedback.
What Ashley N doesn't like about Sushi C:
I tried Fin's again. Went with some friends and got the pork katsu bento special for $10. I want to give it more stars but I got food poisoning from Fin's AGAIN. THIS IS TWO FOR TWO. The bento comes with a lot of food, so I was going to say it's really worth it. I saved half of it for my dinner, but it woke me up in the middle of the night since it was the only thing I ate within the last 30 hours, it literally canno... View all feedback.
I really love the quality of sushi at their Beacon Hill branch so I decided to try the sushi here. I've never tried their other menu items before but the fish was very fresh and the rolls were decently sized. I got the French salmon tartar $9), which had raw salmon, onions, and apples served on top of rice with caviar. The dish came with a creamy looking sauce that didn't have that much flavor. The fish was very fresh and the dish tasted good but I wasn't blown away. I also got a spicy combo $17) with 6 pieces each of spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, and spicy yellowtail roll. It also came with miso soup. I liked how their rolls have tempura crunch added to them. I honestly couldn't really tell the difference between the 3 different fish. The miso soup was tasty and wasn't too salty. I noticed that many of their specialty rolls have fruit in them... I got a Mexican roll $10), which is a spicy tuna roll wrapped with avocado and topped with tabasco, scallions, and masago. I'm pretty sure they forgot the toppings because I only received an avocado-wrapped spicy tuna roll. It was tasty, but I wish I got the tabasco and other toppings. Lastly, I got a salmon avocado roll $7). The salmon and avocado pieces were very thick, and the salmon was fresh. All the rolls had a good balance between filling and rice. I'm a little bummed out about the lack of toppings on the Mexican roll, but otherwise I enjoyed everything I tried! The sushi prices here are pretty similar to what you'd find at other sushi places in the Boston area. From what other reviews say, it's probably better to stay away from their other entrees grilled stuff, rice, etc).
The sushi and don are nice. But the service are not great. Many options to choose from though.
Great sushi. One of my regular spots. Highly recommend the spider maki. Eating in is fun, but I usually do takeout.
