AC unit leaked on two of our six seats, so we squeezed more tightly into the table. That was a known issue but we had to dropped on, sadly, before we knew to adjust seat placement. View all feedback.
What Bine doesn't like about Sorellina:
Didn't like the small table behind a beam for us 4 , my pasta was cold so they had to redo it, other than that it was a delicious meal but did t enjoy the ambience tonight , so sad View all feedback.
Great room, excellent service, incredible food. All the ingredients for an awesome dining experience. Can't wait to go back.
The veal chop was salty on the surface but lack in flavour on the inside. It’s tender, but not impressive for its price. Foie Gras and drinks were great.
Sorellina in Boston provided us with an unforgettable dining experience during our recent visit. The atmosphere was modern, yet warm and inviting, and the lighting created a cozy yet chic setting. The energy in the room was vibrant but not overwhelming, allowing for a great conversation throughout our meal. The service at Sorellina was exceptional. The staff greeted us warmly and provided attentive, professional, and unobtrusive service. Their genuine hospitality and extensive menu knowledge made us feel well taken care of. The culinary delights at Sorellina were the highlight of the evening. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with delicious flavors. From the Tuna Tartare to the Gnocchi with Maine Lobster, every bite was perfectly balanced and rich in taste. The Grilled Octopus and the Halibut were equally exquisite, showcasing the chef's culinary expertise and attention to detail. Overall, we had a wonderful time at Sorellina and would gladly return. We highly recommend it!
Everything from the food to the service to the ambience exceeded our expectations. My partner (an executive chef) and I (dining room manager) work in the restaurant industry so we rarely get a Saturday night off together and we are so glad we chose to spend it here. The tuna tartare was excellent. We split the fettuccine and the eggplant rollettini for our mid course and WOW.. we were blown away. My filet was cooked perfectly and practically melted in my mouth. My partner's haddock was so light and flaky. The tiramisu is the best we've ever had. We started off with a cocktail and anticipated having a bottle of wine with dinner but as soon as we took our first sip of our cocktails, we quickly changed our mind. Every one we tried was so perfectly balanced and delicious.. Our server (who was training) was so kind, warm and communicative. We felt at ease with her the entire time. I have no doubts she will do well there. The server training her.. it is very clear he is a well seasoned server with the confidence and professionalism he portrayed. Even the support staff was impressive. They were quick and efficient and walked around the dining room with their “head on a swivel” and with a purpose... A beautiful restaurant, an excellent staff, exceptional food, and a wonderful dining experience. Thank you. We will be back!
Sorellina is worth all the hype and praise for the menu and ambiance. If there is a drawback, it's that the menu carries a price point that is at the top of most Boston restaurants. The food is totally worth the price, but some will scoff that Italian food should not have the same price as a steakhouse, which the decor is reminiscent of. When you use the best ingredients and the execution is near-perfect the price is indeed justified and on point. The service is also impressive without being smothering or absent. While a special occasion type of place, it warrants all the buzz and accolades collected over the years. Definitely adding to the rotation of special places in Boston
