What Scott Roeller doesn't like about Mi Pueblito Orient Heights:
Its good, but It's not Mexican food, it's Spanish (South American)food, big difference. The menu is written in Spanish. Mexican restaurants will have their menus in English. Bet the owner is not from Mexico. View all feedback.
We loved this place! Coming from California we had certain expectations for Latin cooking and this restaurant didn't disappoint even though it was quite different from what we experience in California. Authentic to the point of feeling as if we left the US for a mini Latin vacay. 100% recommend if you're looking for great food.
My wife and I visited this restaurant for dinner we had the fajitas steak shrimp and chicken the dish was amazing as best Mexican food we've had in a long time this is a do not miss restaurant it's outstanding
I stopped by Mi Pueblito for a quick dinner before heading to the airport, and it did not disappoint! The chicken and pork tacos were delicious, and the vegetarian fajitas received excellent reviews. It's conveniently located near Logan Airport in Orient Heights.
It's good, but it's not Mexican food—it's actually Spanish (South American) cuisine, which is quite different. The menu is in Spanish, whereas Mexican restaurants typically offer their menus in English. I have a feeling the owner might not be Mexican.
The food was delicious and authentically flavorful. Small touches, like the grilling of the peppers and onions, really made a difference. The service was impeccable. The tables and chairs were beautifully adorned with Talavera tiles and intricately carved calla lilies, which reminded me of Diego Rivera's paintings. We enjoyed tostones, pupusa de maíz, bean burrito, and guacamole.
