We loved our dinner at Cafe Amaro. It is a cute little place right in the heart of the North End of Boston. It's across the street from Mike's Pastry. The pizza was delicious. We were there in June, so the windows were open right to the sidewalk. Loved the food and atmosphere, and would definitely recommend! View all feedback.
What MatthewS doesn't like about Cafe Amaro:
Menu needs to be updated so that there is no confusion about what is ordered. Butternut squash ravioli came out with a red sauce instead of a brown butter sauce and was informed the brown butter sauce is no longer on the menu but can still be optioned for. View all feedback.

We love Cafe Amaro. It is the perfect place for an elegant and small dining atmosphere. The server Brian is the face of the restaurant with his smile and electric personality!!! You will never meet a server that is more welcoming and as friendly as he is! Can’t say enough about this little gem of a restaurant! You will never be disappointed! We LOVE Cafe Amaro! Just ask for Brian!!!
Devine! Firstly, the place only fits about 15 people, so be sure to call or go online for a reservation! Without knowing how small it would be, I booked a reservation and was happy when we arrived and could be seated immediately!I went with my mom and her two friends, and everyone was blown away by how tasty the food was!We ordered the meatballs as a starter. Three giant, tender meatballs came with the order! So fresh and flavorful. Then, my mom and I split the bolognese and the burrata pizza (which we added prosciutto to): this was one of the best meals we had in Boston. The meat sauce in the bolognese and giant pieces of meat and they were so flavorful! The pizza was delicious! I'm not from the northeast and I normally eat thick crust, but this may have turned me into a thinner crust person! You could take the brick oven freshness!
This is the cutest little place in the North End of Boston. The kids had a pepperoni pizza and a Margherita. We loved the chicken parmigiana and the gnocchi. Bryan, our server, was so sweet, attentive and welcoming. We will be back again on our next trip!
