There are nuts, and then there are the roasted nuts at The Roasting Arms! Seriously, they were delicious! As a vegan, I truly appreciate a good roast nut! Overall, it's a lovely pub with well-maintained real ales, dog-friendly atmosphere, and a great cover band on Sunday afternoons. It was definitely a highlight of our holiday. We visited the Foundry Arms tonight while staying nearby for a few nights. I called around 3:30 PM, and they were able to accommodate us with a table for four at 6 PM. When we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly! The food was delicious, and my daughter actually finished everything on her plate, which is quite rare! The service was prompt, and our main waitress was exceptionally friendly. The pub had a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. We would definitely return if we're in the area again. Thank you for having us! x
