Urban Tadka In Irv - Crofton

Anyone looking for authentic Punjabi food in DFW, look no further…Urban Tadka has been a staple. Only order Punjabi dishes (not briyani) like Bhartha (smoky eggplant), choley (chickpeas), palak or saag (spinach or mustard), butter chicken or Dhaba chicken (new dish), garlic naan and lassi. Then take a nap and thank me later

We had been to Lousy Urban restaurant on 8/20 for a dinner after seeing so many good reviews. Now I really think that it could be either fake reviewers to get folks!! We ordered pokora, Malai kuffta, panner butter masala and veggie briyani. We can smell the oil that’s used multiple times!!!! The base for both curries are very similar and they put 4/5 pieces of Kuffta and paneer. We specifically requested for “ NO SPICY” veggies Briyani however end up very hot spicy and we immediately told them but the server reaction was negative not even sorry or will replace it!!!! mentality if this is it if u want eat it)…. We couldn’t really enjoy the food with the bad quality and decided to box it and requested the box!!! The server female) gave us the smallest box and ask us to fill it when we ask for the bigger box she told that it would fit so do it!!!! When we ask we pay for the box just give us bigger one!!! She reluctantly gave and told us that she wouldn’t touch the food and ask us to pack when we ask her to show how to pack in the small box!!!! We paid around $78 for the poor quality, rude behavior and careless people. DON’T count any reviews to go there!!! The Briyani had multiple colors??? We know that when Urban Tadka started in humble manner back in Flower Mounds TX where customer service was best and taken care of it!!! Please look for other restaurants if you wanted to enjoy food!!!

Very amazing punjabi food. We ordered paneer kadhai, paneer makhani and rumali roti which was very good.

The food is Delish I love ordering from there .. and the Mango Lassi one of my favorite drinks so far I’ve tried the Tandoori chicken .. but I will be ordering more .. wonderful place to eat..
