Barnstormers is a charming local bar and grill with a cozy, welcoming interior that feels both quaint and spacious—except during the busy hunting season when it gets packed. The decor is filled with vintage warbird photos and unique touches like their signature Barnstormer biplane bar rack, giving the place plenty of character. Their menu offers a decent selection of beers, including both draft and bottled options, along with standard liquors and mixers. The staff are exceptional—friendly and attentive—but keep in mind this is a place to sit back and enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace. The food is excellent for the price, featuring rotating specials and fantastic all-you-can-eat Alaskan walleye fish fries. The fish is perfectly fried to a crispy, golden perfection without being greasy. My only minor gripe is the choice of crinkle-cut fries instead of shoestring or waffle fries, but that’s just a personal preference. Overall, Barnstormers delivers great food, good drinks, and a memorable atmosphere.
This restaurant is a fantastic option for all-you-can-eat walleye. The ambiance is delightful, the staff are friendly, and it's conveniently situated on the main street in Coleman, WI.
Barnstormers is a wonderful local bar and grill with a cozy and charming interior. It's a quaint space that remains pretty spacious, except on particularly busy days during hunting season. The decor is enhanced by many old warbird photos and images that contribute to its character, along with a distinctive biplane bar rack. The beer selection is decent, featuring a mix of draft and bottled options, though it's not particularly extensive. They offer a standard range of liquors and mixers as well. The staff here are friendly and attentive.
This is definitely one of my favorite places in the area, and it's my number one pick for Friday fish!
