The setting of the Royal is splendid. The dining room was a little crowded so we ate in the bar for conviviality with our diners was amazing. I had the pork belly dinner, which was outstanding. The beer and whiskey selection were very good. I had the Earthquake Ale from Black Isle brewery, which was quite good. My brother had the portobello mushroom because they were out of hamburgers. A delightful visit.
Very comfortable atmosphere with wood decoration and very manor style. The menu had some peculiar dishes, such as shrimp with chorizo, or grilled fish with potato and chorizo, which although a priori might seem of strange taste, then they were not so bad.The mussels to the sailor quite good. They had a lot to bring an extra ratio of bread.
The Royal. Hotel Comrie is a real treat! We had a beautiful double room with a lovely comfortable bed and a choice of 3 feather pillows! We decided to eat at the hotel as there seemed to be very little choice on a Sunday night within Comrie but we weren't disappointed! Our bar supper meals were delicious and our breakfast the following morning was totally delish! We can't wait to go back!
Went for dinner at the Royal Hotel. Beautiful hotel and dining room. Food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and attentive. They even managed to work well with our dietary restrictions (gluten free, dairy free and egg free) and gave us lots of menu options!
Visited here today for a meal for my 40th birthday with my boyfriend, the food was good but the portions were very small and served on huge plates, i found the food to be very overpriced, 2 starters,2 mains and 2 drinks £46.00. We asked to be moved after being seated at the toilet door, the bar man did not seem to pleased at this but reluctantly moved us to another table. No one wants to eat outside a toilet.
