This restaurant is... read more There are plenty of friendly places in Crete where you can spend the evening chatting with the owner, watching people pass by on the street. This restaurant is a must-visit taverna. The owner is very friendly, speaks multiple languages, and is happy to cater to vegans. We started with stuffed grape leaves and had two delicious and sizable vegan main dishes. The menu is extensive, offering both baked and fried options. If I were to stay in Rethymno longer, I would definitely revisit this place. The food was even tastier than at the only fully vegan restaurant in town.
