we eat at three founders when we were at racv. we had one of the best risotto in a long time. we had ordered several side dish that were really good and decent portion size. we loved mango panna cotta and it was so delicious that we ended up with an additional round of it: View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Three Founders:
Stayed at the RACV Creswick resort and had breakfast here. It is now table service due to COVID-19 which is understandable.However service was incredibly poor. Sat down for more than 15 minutes but no one took our order whilst tables around us were served. It was also impossible to get someone's attention. I had a wonderful dinner experience. I ordered the Porterhouse Steak with fries, while Elise chose the chicken breast on Sunday night, March 17, 2024. Additionally, Sarah Jane seemed to have a huge crush on me, which added a fun dynamic to the evening. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 out of 5.

I recently dined here for dinner and had an exceptional experience. The price per person was between A$40 and A$60, which I found to be quite reasonable considering the high quality of everything. The food was outstanding—definitely a perfect 5 out of 5. Each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented. The service was equally impressive, receiving another 5 out of 5. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, enhancing our overall experience. As for the atmosphere, it was delightful—a comfortable and inviting setting that earned another 5 out of 5. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a fantastic meal in a lovely environment!
The lamb and barramundi were delicious. However, I took off one star because the pasta portion was too small to satisfy even a four-year-old. The staff at the front of the house appeared somewhat disorganized as well. I really wish restaurants would offer the same delectable dishes they showcase on their websites. Wish there was more ambience here. Front of house Glenda bungled around with each and every one of the diners. Have you got any a booking I don't think I can fit you in fumble with paperwork and that **** flouro marker.... couldn't be seated five minutes earlier.... really spoilt our evening despite the I terminations of other staff correcting her faux pas. Foodwise excellent, wine list sad and wait staff really need to iron their clothes and not slouch about like everything's a burden. An entrees of gnochi arrived cold, went back to the kitchen and we awaited the ping of the microwave that was used to reheat it.... error it also managed to turn the once fluffy potato pillows into chewy chunks. Be careful what you wish for here.

The restaurant is family-friendly with a staff that is extremely attentive and caring.
I dined at this restaurant twice during my stay at the resort. On my first visit, I tried the chicken breast coated in Panko breadcrumbs, and it was absolutely delicious! On my second night, I had the grilled pork, which was fantastic! Every aspect of that dish was delightful! The pumpkin side dish was incredible as well! I would definitely return, although I found it to be a bit pricey.

Had breakfast here with family. nothing to write home. traditional farewell. apfel kompott with zimt was delicious with bircher muesli. each to himself to secure a table.
Average buffet for this type of establishment. Didn't have tomatoes on first day and then no mushrooms on the second. the only thug I enjoyed was the baked beans. Coffee takes forever to order and then to receive. They need a dedicated person at the coffee machine. Would have liked to see cured meats and cheeses in the selection.
$59 each for 2 courses, 1 x potato and leek soup porterhouse steak. Other was 6 tempura oysters salmon steak for main. Staying at the hotel, we arrived at 7:50pm without a reservation, was seated at the very back corner of restaurant next to a family with 2 small children. Food portions were small, at 9:15 over an hour later) we were still waiting for our mains, questioned the waitresses twice. Mains finally came however we weren't hungry anymore, it took so long. Would not recommend eating here, not value for money and the attitude of the staff including the maitre de was very apathetic.
