We both had soup - the clam chowder had plenty of clams, the other was beef barley (if I remember correctly) - it was real tasty. Had fish 'n chips (fish was good, not greasy, not dried out.) We'd eat here again.

We have always enjoyed breakfast at this place but recently... read more This is a very basic restaurant that offers very good food served by a cheerful and efficient staff. We have always enjoyed breakfast at this place but recently enjoyed a delicious lunch which included home made pie. The place is always packed and in fact the last visit we saw a table Reserved for lunch. Not quiet but that isn't what we look for when we go here.
