Reviews - Stockade
Reviews summary
Nestled in the heart of Crestline village, this mountain pub offers a lively atmosphere with a diverse selection of food and drinks, including excellent vegetarian options. Guests rave about the food, with highlights like ribs and bison bacon burgers, as well as impressive cocktails, although some dishes occasionally miss the mark. Service experiences vary, with reports of understaffing and slow attentiveness, yet the staff remains friendly and accommodating. Live music, a pool table, and a digital jukebox add to the fun. While it's not perfect, the restaurant promises a welcoming vibe for both locals and tourists.

The vibe, aesthetics, service and offerings are incredible. Truly a mountain pub without the creepy feel of walking into a place that is unwelcome to strangers. They know what they are doing here and welcome tourists as well as locals. Music and food on weekends. View all feedback.
What Fiona J dislikes about Stockade:
The restaurant offers average food and a nice variety of beers, however the service is quite poor. The establishment always seems to be short-staffed and frequently runs out of many items on the menu. On the positive side, they have good music playing. View all feedback.

Delicious lunch, great environment and top notch service. Eat here and support this establishment. Thanks for the service Adam!!
The uniqueness of the dine-in area has lost all its charm, but the DIVINE food makes up for it.
It’s unfortunate, this place is great if your a local. And you get drunk with the staff! But if your just a hard working dude that like to have their amazing steak and potatoes ever Wednesday you have to hope you catch them on days they feel like keeping their kitchen open on their scheduled hours!
I would go back the food was great, the Bloody Mary was excellent. The big big mishap was we told our waitress that we had to have beef ribs no pork and we ended up with pork ribs. Big mistake due to religions practice of my friend.
I loved my extra extra crisp onion rings. Everywhere I go, I request them well done or burnt and they are always limp and barely cookes but this time they got it right. They were fabulous. Also had the ribs to split with my hubby and there was no charge for the extra plate. I will return as I have since 1986.

Lived here for 21 years. Dined here 20 years ago, it was ok. My man, Robert Semain and had a Farro arugula salad, an enormous club sammie with fries delicious. We will be back for more food! Waitress and bartender very attentive, friendly, and always smiling. We will be definitely be back.Hopefully the smoker gets fired up soon!
I wish I could remember our amazing server’s name tonight, but it’s Thursday March 28th and she was FANTASTIC!!My husband and I, along with two friends, drove up from Victorville for dinner! They suggested Wrightwood for dinner, so I randomly suggested “this place I went to back in 2016 that had the best steaks”! They all agreed, on my word, so thank goodness its was just as amazing today as it was then! Our steaks had the most perfect char and yet cooked perfectly at rare and medium rare!’ SO DELICIOUS!! Don’t know how they do it, but we will 100% be back in the very near future!! Thank you to our fabulous and sassy server, you ROCK! Also, the bartender made an amazing old fashioned, well done, cheers to you! ?

Fun night at the Stockade! Good food..great music by Phil Shane the Lounge King!!Danielle's the best! Girl is on it!! Definitely a great night!!

We visited on a busy Labor Day. It was clear that they were understaffed, but our server Valerie was working hard. She was multitasking by grilling burgers in the back and keeping us informed as side dishes ran out. The cocktails were potent and the food was excellent.
I had a great experience dining at this restaurant with my family. My dad, who is a tough critic, gave the grilled romaine an A+ rating. We also enjoyed the farro salad and cheese bread. While the menu is slightly limited, there are enough options for everyone. Our server Valerie was fantastic. I would definitely return next time I am in Crestline.

After meeting with the owners and touring the venue, we chose Stockade for our Groom's dinner. The back terrace is perfect for larger events. We had a fantastic time! I have nothing but positive feedback for everyone involved. The owners were hands-on in helping us plan food and drinks for our group of 50, and the Stockade staff were attentive and friendly. The evening was enjoyable for all, with many guests staying late into the night for a post-dinner party in the bar.
Great people, kind service. Cozy venue in Crestwood and easy to find. Kitchen is only open specific hours on specific days, just something to note and check ahead on. For a small place, they had 2 great craft options on draft. Nice that it wasn't just all the same, weak domestic beers. Bottled favorites available too, and full bar with decent variety. Locals said the food was really good, so I'll hope to try it next time when it's available.
The food and drinks at this restaurant are fantastic, with excellent vegetarian options available as well. The new owner has set up a professional stage in the back area for live music and plans to bring in touring acts. Additionally, there is a pool table and a digital jukebox for entertainment. The staff provides friendly service, making for a pleasant dining experience. Located in the heart of Crestline village, this restaurant is sure to provide a good time.
Cute older bar with friendly staff. Food selection was good! Parking close and nearby lots! Drink selection is on point! Tv for sports game lots of locals frequent this bar but welcoming to tourists! Worth a visit if craving a nightlife/drink in the mountains!
In the heart of the Sierra Madras, in the charming town of Crestline, you'll find this stunning hidden gem. The BBQ here is absolutely delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. I was hoping to spot some ghosts, but unfortunately I didn't have any supernatural encounters.
