What ChristinaK dislikes about Soupçon:
The time between courses was waaaay too long. Typically I assume 5 7 minutes between courses. It took forever to get the food. I was so done with dinner by the 2nd course it took 2 hours to get there! First had a salmon petit four, then a soup then first and second course. I was done by then. I’ve had several fine dining meals and most of them Michelin rated, so I fine that my feel for the meal is on par. The food wa... View all feedback.
Five stars do not begin to give the chef and incredibly talented employees credit. we would give these 10 stars. we celebrated our jubilee, and joel (our server and master of the ceremonies for this gourmet experience began with a complementary glass champagner. sitting is cozy, acoustic mute every conversation so they can really enjoy their business without hearing more, then a happy bush in the room. and there are only 5 6 tables per room. this restaurant is performance art that is perfected. joel explained each of our courses (in the 5 curs meal and wein pairing (we were very happy that we did this, and we felt like we had paid for a wonderful tutorial. the weeping composed every cure really good. to a new level. each curs has exceeded our expectations. we started with a bite mouse bouche from kaviar. the pot was a sweet maisbisque, which was smooth and exactly the right consistency, with a smokey lardon and creamfraiche. we ordered the duet of duck for our 1st curs (fit and fois gras with wonderful accents. we ordered colorado lamb for our 2nd curs (perfect cooked medium rare, so delicate, with chanterelle, prosciutto and sauces. the intermezzo seasonal sorbet was granny smith apfel perfect to clean our palettes. for our third cure, we both ordered the elk tenderloin, and it was also medium rare, simply perfect, juicy, and cooked with wonderful sweet and carrots. (we took a couple home, because we didn't want to waste it. the finale was a choice of apple tarte tatine or chocolate maus cake as they can either miss. also here we cannot recommend this device enough. bring a good appetit. leave them 3 31/2 hours, they want more. they change the menu monthly, which is hard to believe. kudos to the entire crew and above all to our server, which led us through a truly unforgettable evening.
Abslutely outstanding! soupçon disappoints never! exceptional service, great eating and presentation with the best wine pairing! can not express enough how fabulous this experience is and always on our next dinning experience here!
