I made the order at a lunch hour to try this place. Compared to other Mediterranean/Turkish places I regularly visited, Samdan was okay. I order was well prepared and packed and delivered within an hour. I ordered the eggplant tomatoes and calf liver appetizers, ground chicken cabob. The size and taste were decent. Samdan Restaurant is the Best Turkish Restaurant ever!! I loved all of about there. They satisfied us with their hospitality and treats. You will never regret when you order your lunch/dinner. The best of North Jersey with its food and qualityservice..Thank you for all!! I can't wait to go and taste them again..
We loved our lunch! Very tasty food and great service. The hostess Yasmin was the kindest and warmest! She was very proud to show us the dessert she personally made that day. Poached quince with pomegranate juice, hibiscus and mascarpone. So delicious!We will come back just for that dessert alone... we found a recipe online so we will experiment at home. Thank you for the verynice hospitality and we'll be back soon!
One of the highly recommended place. Pretty wide restaurant with high ceilings making your dinner experience more enjoyable. Servers are nice and they do answer all your questions and they do their best to make your night stunning. Dishes are amazing.Gavurdagi salad, grilled octopus, pink lady, saslik kebab are the ones that I have not seen at any other Turkish restaurantaround. Triangle shaped baklava filled with vanilla ice cream is must to try. Owner is very friendly and seems he knows what heis doing. Not many of the restaurant owner ask to their customers about the food they serve. He believes in his kitchen andservers and dishes. They have a nice size party room. We start thinking a Christmas party at that place already. Before Iforget, they have a nice out door patio under very nice looking sign that is shinning red and white. Everything was perfect. Wewill come back and we will bring our friends to add them to this lovely atmosphere.
There are various Turkish meal and all of them are delicious. The chefs are doing great job. The staff is excellent; they are very customer friendly and care for the customer. This is a perfect place who likes Mediterranean cuisine. Samdan provided sucha tasty experience. Thank you,
The Mediterranean dishes at Samdan are outstanding. The food is flavorful, particularly the freshly made bread and olive oil. I strongly suggest ordering the Chicken Chops from the grilled kebabs, and be sure to try the shepherd’s salad as well.

You can have a cost-effective lunch at $16.95. Choose lentil soup or salad as an appetizer. both are ok The bread before the meal was hot and delicious. The lamb kebab was also filling and filling. All the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Visited often

Everything from the appetizers to the meals at the Şamdan restaurant we went to for the first time on 22.09.2024 was delicious, thanks to the chef's hands, the health service industry, the food service speeds, the attention of the waiters were excellent, congratulations.

It's very elegant and stylish restaurant, the food and presentation great, the dishes like an art and very delicious, when you look at the dish already you are craving, mouth watering, to have dinner in a such a elegant restaurant is really pleasant, highly recommended, the dessert selection are great, kazandibi, muhallebi, sütlaç, baklava all great,one of the best Mediterranean Restaurant Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options even they have vegan option. Kid-friendliness: For sure you will find some dishes for your kids. Parking: The restaurant has enough parking spots Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchair Dietary restrictions: If you let the waitstaff and the manager, for sure they will take care of your dietary needs.

Excellent Mediterranean cuisine is the food very tasty the in-house bread and the olive oil tasty. Must try the Chicken Chops in the Grill Cabobs. Don't forget to have him in the shepherd salad.
We had a nice dinner with perfect service, and great food that you do not stop eating. I'll recommend it to my friends.
I would like to congratulate the new owner Yusuf, he is extremely with all the new upgrades he introduced, including the latest menu with tasteful seafood. Everything's so delicious. One of my favorites is “Octopus Carpaccio”. I was in many upscale restaurants, and I can really say Octtopus carpaccio has the Michelin star quality taste with its unique sauce. New chefs earn the credit. I had ordered Filet Mignon from Sofia Englewood almost weekly, then recently stopped thanks to new menu item “Saslik” from Samdan. Main ingredient is specially marinated fillet mignon, and it is served with potato puree on the bottom and cooks secret sauce on top, this combination is mouthwater. Since the meeting with saslik we have ordered weekly from Samdan for our family dinners. See the photo it shows, take order of saslik how beautiful it couples with my favorite Cabernet red wine, cheers my friends ....
Yes, the food is incredibly delicious but friendly staff and elite atmosphere is very hard to find and Samdan has it all…. I tried all the appetizers, most of the main dishes and all were delicious. You can order anything you want on the menu without hesitating because it all will come out delicious. It is a restaurant for a date night, family/friends night out. Oh! And I also seen them hosting big parties. You must try this place. Go, go, gooooo now : and thank me later.
This is my firs time here and wont be my last at this lovely restaurant. This restaurant is really amazing, food is delicious and fresh, service excellent: bus boys clean up without delay, waiters are on point. If you live in the NJ NYC metropolitan area and live fresh seafood, kebabs and amazing service this is a must go to place.
