had amazing vegan nachos with black beans, rice, vegan cheese and vegan sour cream! expected no such option and when I asked about vegan options, they have listed so many! the workers are really nice, service was super fast and eating was the most beautiful vegan food I had in the head of the die. only a few minutes ago eaten there and let them know the dame in the theke that there were some root (kartoffeln not really peeled) in a few of my chips. just to keep a level of standard for customers, my answer was "it comes and won't kill them." the ladies in the kitchen and cooking cook were pretty nice, but the dame on the theke was quite rude and could not worry less about the place. other than that the meal was... Great twist on standard fish and chips. we had soft tacos, fish burger and the flathead and chips. everything was tasty, perfectly cooked and worth the price tag. it was busy but the wait wasn’t outrageous. we didn’t eat in but still tasted fresh.
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant with their vegan nachos made with black beans, rice, vegan cheese, and vegan sour cream! I was pleasantly surprised by the range of vegan options available, and the staff was very helpful in recommending them. The service was fast and the food was the most delicious vegan meal I've had in Crescent Head.
I just dined at this restaurant a few minutes ago and I informed the woman at the counter that there were some unpeeled potatoes in my chips. I suggested that maintaining a certain standard for customers is important, but her response was, "It comes like that and it's not going to kill you." The women in the kitchen and the chef were pleasant, but the lady at the counter was rude and seemed indifferent about the establishment. Despite this, the meal was good, although a bit expensive.
The restaurant displayed casual racism that was so blatant, it felt like you could order it with a side of chips. The jokes about China were not well received, much like the undercooked chips and raw battered prawn cutlets.
