eating is wonderful, drinks perfect, but the service is missing. only 3 tables and the waitress was out there. over slowly. the view is excellent, right on the beach. kinda expensive, reviews of the restaurant are better than the hotel in which it is located! clam chowder was excellent. What User doesn't like about Seaside Restaurant Bar:
you have to enter inside to get to the restaurant, looks very warm and welcoming. food could be better, thought that for the price you would get a bit more. personally i wouldn't come back for the food, chicken was really dry, clam chowder was good... images may be subject to copyright View all feedback.
Beautiful view of the sea from our table to see the picture windows. Food was absolutely delicious!!! Stuffed Rib-Eye was about what I expected!!! Our servers were very friendly and attentive.
Wonderful food! I had the coconut prawns and clam chowder in a bread bowl. The food was fresh, home made and delicious. The staff accommodated us even though we arrived near their closing time.
Not the atmosphere that I expected for the price of their food. Extremely over priced! Small dining room inside a hotel. Glad I didn't dress up more. Spent over $100 on dinner for two. Waiter was friendly but brought our bill while we were still eating and was pushing us to go so they could close early. Frozen fries and lots of fried foods. The salmon and coconut shrimp were the good.
I gave this place a big review 8 months ago, but I had to review my opinion about it. This time I went on a Friday just before 19:00, a man apparently wished a customer good evening or similar, after which he hastily cleared the table and left. I have set up my laptop and waited for someone to come out of the bar area and take my order, provided that the restaurant was still open because the hotel reception said they stop to serve 7:30 or 7:45. There was no one in the restaurant, and the waiter, manager or whatever he was, spoke with what looked like customers in the bar clearly visible from my table. After 10-15 minutes I went to the bar and asked if someone could take my order. The man said the restaurant was closed at 7. I told them the reception told me they stopped to serve 7:30 or 7:45. He repeated that the restaurant was closed by 7. So I went, although I should probably point out that I was at the restaurant at 7. I doubt it would have a role, because the attitude I got from this man was at best uninteresting. Apparently, they didn't feel the need to tell me that the restaurant was closed, nor did they care that I was actually in the restaurants around 7. Even though I'm at the hotel, which houses the restaurant for two more days, I've never been there, past both breakfast and dinner as well as the great view. I leave some information from my previous visit to this review when I had dinner twice there, but for the record, this time I did not eat meals there, spent no money there.
Every time we're here, we had nothing but a great food service! Yesterday evening I went to birthday dinner and it was as usual excellent? Years ago they had a blooming onion on the menu, but I guess it has not enough interest to keep it on the menu. My Hubby asked if the cook would be willing to try and he did happy and it was SO good! Our dinners were also exceptionally good and the service was top notch ?
