During our stay at the Hiouchi Motel just up the road, we decided to visit Crescent City around 7:30 for dinner. Unfortunately, our first restaurant choice was closed due to the early closing times in the area. We ended up at this gritty tavern that I was initially skeptical about. Really friendly and helpful owners, excellent food for cheap. Nice to find good Mexican food!
Excellent Mexican cuisine, beer and wein with excellent local bands such as blackgto! favorite place for local, especially those who run the street in pelican bay state prison. family friendly. simple and clean with excellent authentic food. chili rellenos are number one? they offer modest seating, including terrace seats.
Jorge was super friendly, eating was authentic and fresh, all made home. we had fajita tacos and posole chile verde and it was amazing!
