I used this place to meet friends from Exeter, and I can't believe we've never discovered it before! It's an incredible garden center and aquatics center, along with a lovely café. The best part is that it's dog-friendly and the staff gives you a warm, personal welcome. I can't wait to return and explore more opportunities to enjoy the beautiful café. View all feedback.
Excellent choice for water and plants. friendly, helpful staff. well ordered restaurant with good choice for cheap trips.
I took my 85 year old Mum to Bow Garden Aquatic Centre today as my elderly parents have just had to move from Somerset to live with me in Devon and after three weeks of 'sorting out stuff, ' we were proper fed up and needed a break. I had never visited before myself as I have not been in the area long, and Mum and I were both pleasantly surprised that such a place existed so near to us. It was great to be out and to walk around looking at the great variety of things you sell and then we had a cup of tea and a huge piece of coffee and walnut cake that Mum couldn 't finish, and the really lovely lady who served us gave us a container to take the remaining cake home to my father. We will definitely be coming again, hopefully regularly and will be able to bring my father as there is wheelchair access. A welcome break on a lovely September afternoon. Thank you.
I was looking to get some more marine fish for my tank, I drove to Plymouth to visit a couple of shops there thinking that they would have more of a selection with it being a City but left without buying any feeling very disappointed with the selection. I started googling fish shops in the area and came across Bow Garden and Aquatic Centre, so decided to take a trip out. Wow! What a selection they had and really helpful and pleasant staff. I would highly recommend a visit, I will certainly be returning. 10 out of 10 guys :
Absolutely brilliant!! The lady who dealt with us was so knowledgeable, courteous, and kind, nothing was too much trouble. The stocks of fish, tropical, marine and cold water was very extensive. Their tanks, lighting, and tank plants were second to none. The shop itself was very well stocked with a wide variety of gifts, all, reasonably priced. And then there was outside, there were far too many plants, flowers and shrubs to mention, the surroundings were very well set out, and everything, again was very reasonably priced. There was also a cafe there, but I did not get chance to visit, another day me thinks. All in all, what a place, I couldn't recommend it highly enough, I think I will be spending a lot more money here in the not to distant future.
Bow aquatics has moved about over the years and it makes sens for it to be in Bow now. It has a huge selection of aquarium supplies and a good stock/ variety and of fish. Great water features and good prices on garden furniture etc. Best local aquarium sales for the Exeter area.
