The Tavern - UWA Student Guild

The UWA Tavern may not be a fancy spot, but it's perfect for the students of the University of Western Australia. It seems to have remained the same since my university days. The prices are fair and it's a great spot to meet up with friends. And just to clarify, it's located on Matilda Bay, not Stirling Highway. It's a welcoming place for everyone.

Located on Hackett Drive, across from Matilda Bay, The Student Tavern is a part of the Student Guild complex. The tavern operates from morning until late afternoon, Monday to Friday, and is closed on the weekends. The doorman described it as a peaceful place where everyone is welcome. The atmosphere in the Tavern is pleasant. It is important to note that you cannot enter the Tavern directly from Stirling Highway and would have to take a long walk instead. The establishment offers a variety of beers, cocktails, and other beverages.

Go down there quite a bit, great staff, good food, reasonable priced drinks. I'd reccomend the nachos.

The uwa tavern is on the campus of the university of western australia in crawley. the tavern is located above the road from the bay matilda, at the river swan. the tavern is mainly aimed at UWA students, but everyone is welcome. drinks come in many sorts; Live music makes for a lively atmosphere.
