Contribute FeedbackLocated within an airport hotel, The Cow offers a limited yet appealing menu that has generated a mix of feedback from diners. While some praised exceptional service and well-prepared dishes like fillet steak and sea bass, others encountered issues with tough meat and lukewarm chips. The ordering system, which relies on table terminals, limits personal interaction, yet the staff endeavored to be efficient. While the atmosphere suffered at times, the food quality and attentive service often shone through. Overall, it caters well to weary travelers seeking a convenient meal, although expectations should be tempered given its airport locale.
The service at this restaurant was fantastic - very friendly and efficient. The burgers were great, but I would probably skip the pizza next time. Overall, it was a good experience.
The steak was tough and had a lot of fat and gristle. The chips were lukewarm. The service was slow and the restaurant was expensive. The staff seemed stressed. Orders were placed through a terminal at the table, so there was no opportunity to interact with them and nobody checked on our meal. We complained at the bar while paying and were offered a 20% discount, suggesting that we were not the only ones to have had a similar experience.
There are some mixed reviews, but my partner and I stayed overnight and had dinner at The Cow. We both loved our meals, and the service was attentive and friendly. We couldn't have asked for more before heading to bed early for an early flight.
Really expensive and not a great amount of choice, drinks too were very expensive, eg. bottle prosecco £30.
We had a very enjoyable meal in the large bar plenty of tables with large lime green chairs. Something of a novelty for me in that you look at and order your meal choices and drinks via an on table mini computer screen. No paper menus so to speak but all very efficient and the bottle of chenin blanc wine £25.50) arrived incredibly quickly and was good. We enjoyed our respective mains of burger and lasagne and with one dessert and 2 coffees the bill including the added tip of £7.49 came to very expensive £81.57. Lucy our watiress was efficient and helpful. However it was convenient and we had a relaxing time here would willing eat here again.
