Visited here this week whilst working in the area. Great pub with large outdoor seating area in the middle of town. Lovely staff. Had a great chat with the barmaid who happened to be from where I live in Lancashire. Great atmosphere and everyone made...you feel welcome. Top pub. View all feedback.
Came to this beautiful little pub with my wife and son and eating was excellent the staff was friendly and hospitable the service was first class I will certainly be back
We love the shades, good eating, great music and cheap drinks. the only output was not able to book a table in advance
5 of us from the work wanted to find somewhere that we could board for a few drinks and share a good amount of food and brewery shades have not disappointed! we ordered almost everything from the starter menu and it. everything came fast, was really delicious, large portion sizes and the service was simply really nice! love that it is an old pub and it felt very cozy. thanks for a great evening. we're coming back!
6 of us visited after work today for a meal. eating was great and considerable. the personal took care of us.
Just wanted a quick sandwich and was passing,brilliant food,Chicken Club and Ham and Tomato,very filling,well presented too,quite substantial, great little place and staff team,I should visit more often, can recommend
