Nestled just outside Skipton on a featureless main road, this charming café may be small—boasting only four indoor tables and additional outdoor seating—but it has earned a loyal following, particularly among bikers. The menu features typical fare, including cooked breakfasts and well-executed sandwiches, though some items can be bland and service may fluctuate during busy hours. With friendly staff and a warm atmosphere, the café is known for its engaging service. While the limited menu and restroom policy draw mixed reviews, many patrons appreciate the good quality food and welcoming vibe that beckons visitors to return.

Was Maisie Lawler at Route 59 Cafe a mag?
We stopped by for breakfast on our way back from a camping weekend. We ordered a big breakfast and a small one, both were cooked perfectly and the portions were generous. The food was delicious and we found it to be great value for money. The staff was friendly and we will definitely be back when we are in the area. This place is a great stop for bikers! What bigbikes dislikes about Route 59 Cafe:
This cafe is small with a badly laid out but good sized car park. It is on a main but featureless road just outside skipton. It has biker information and notices but is used by a very mixed customer basel. Food is typical fried fare and decent ,if a bit slow when busy. There is a outdoor toilet and you have to ask for the key. View all feedback.
Not fair on travellers in need of a loo break. You have to purchase something first. Not a polite service. I left on principal. Too many people have mentioned this same problem even when they've been desperate to go it's not allowed. Rude comments are given in return. It's there for motor bikers. That says it all.
Place feels grubby , cheap margarine on bread buy worst of all was the toilets , fifty dirty and no toilet paper . Never again
Absolutely lovely people, great sense of humour and fantastic food; vegetarian breakfast was delicious
I absolutely adore this restaurant. The staff always greet you warmly and engage in some fun conversation. The bike nights are particularly bustling and lively. Despite its small size, the restaurant is impeccably charming.
