I stumbled upon this place completely by chance, and I'm so glad I did! I tried the tippers, and they were absolutely delicious! The other two people with me ordered cake, which was homemade and incredibly moist. It was lovely to enjoy my coffee in a real cup instead of a disposable one! The staff were really friendly, and there are plenty of seats available too.
Highly recommended. delicious drinks (I have latte and mocha tried) served in real tassen! and eating is amazing. the alsotermuchty is a huge bungalow with layers of speck and haggis. it will fill them for a day to foot! the owners are also so nice and friendly. I will call again if I am near craster.
What the payment of £6 for the quarry parking in craster rewarding, was the excellent offer of the pipers pitch . the alsotermuchty, tipper sandwich, teekaffee were all excellent, coupled with very friendly service.
If you want some local delights served with a smile this is the place to go. Despite not being able to pronounce their world famous delight of a bacon and haggis roll, the man behind this place was full of chat and super friendly. Really impressed. Great food. Thank you Pipers Pitch
If you like haggis, you have to try the world famous Auchtermuchty at Piper 's Pitch. A giant bun with haggis, bacon, and an (optional) local chilli jam. All the sandwiches we had were generous portions at a great price, and they even offer free tea refills! Without a doubt the best fast food in Northumberland.
