What User doesn't like about Thai Star:
I ordered the Basil Thai fried rice with chicken. Clearly there was no chicken inside of this dish. I called back to report this issue, and was told that it includes minced chicken meat. WETF that is... Then was told that if I wanted the chopped chicken (which is usually used in most basil fried rice with chicken dishes, whether shrimp or beef, you can at least see the meat inside) that I would need to request for it... I paid an extra $2 for steak pad thai, but all I got was steak.
The food at this restaurant was made with fresh, flavorful, and high-quality ingredients. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they even used real crab meat, which added a delicious taste to the dish.
While not particularly eye-catching from the outside, this restaurant offers a welcoming atmosphere and top-notch, freshly made Thai cuisine. I have tried various dishes including fresh mango rolls, spring rolls, scallion pancakes, two different curries, stir-fried noodle dishes, and an amazing tom kha soup. Everything exceeded my expectations and I have never had better Thai food anywhere else. As a vegan, I appreciated the vast array of options available with high-quality vegetables and tofu as a meat replacement. This has become my new favorite restaurant, despite the 35-minute drive from my home.

Excellent food always made fresh! The owners/operators are great folk to meet if you are dining in during the evening.
