Takkei - Cranston

I ordered chicken swarm duck and I've never been more satisfied. The chicken was delicious beside the frits, rice and above all the garlic sauce. The only thing I would change is to have 2 Pitas instead of one. Other than that, friendly service and amazing food.

Delicious food. The menu is limited, but this is not bad nowadays. What they offer, they are perfect. Her grilled meats have a light cha and blow that makes you think it was grilled on some coals from the back. Her falafel is the best I had in RI and the deserts are also top knotch.

The menu list is really short, but the quality is so good. The Entrees are a value for money esp of the mixed grill entree. I also loved her garlic sauce. Once a week have atleast there and would definitely recommend.

I wanted to write this review for a while. I had Takkei for the first time a month ago. I usually live in MD, but in RI worked in a friend Tattoo Studio (Powerline Tattoo). I'm always looking for good food nearby, and I was informed that a Mediterranean spot had just opened. I found the service excellent and very attentive. The food is amazing and I think I have a new favorite at the tattoo studio (like Takkei is a block away, over the street. I would recommend this place at any time. The portions are large and so is the price. Nice everywhere!

Fabulous, tasty food (some of the best babaganoush I've ever had), generous portions. Everything is fresh and delicious. Great for take-out. Only a few tables. The owners are lovely and friendly. Opened two months ago, and we will definitely be back. This is exactly the kind of restaurant every neighborhood needs!
