I have played and eaten at Edenmore for many years however have not left a review before. I attended a charity golf competition last week and I must say that the course was in 1st class condition, probably as good as I have ever seen it. The track is a decent parkland course with a few quirky short holes and a couple of beasts of par 5's. There are 5x par 3 holes from a wee dunt to longer holes were par is very good.... We booked the Sunday Carvery and it was a very disappointing experience. The food quality was poor. For example, at the carvery there were just a very few, unappetising roast potatoes left even though there was still half an hour to go. We asked whether there were any more and the chef replied no that they finished the carvery at 3pm. We had made a reservation for 2.30pm and were there promptly. View all feedback.
I went to this restaurant for afternoon tea, and it was absolutely amazing. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. There was a wide variety of food to choose from, and I highly recommend visiting. I give it a perfect 10 out of 10.
My daughter, her friend, and I stayed in two rooms at this beautiful, warm, and cozy hotel over the weekend. We were all amazed by the excellent staff who were incredibly accommodating from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spacious, warm, and the beds were large and comfortable. The food was good, and it was lovely to have breakfast next to a warm fire with a great selection of food. Even though we didn't play golf, the course seemed busy which must mean it's good! I highly recommend this hotel and want to thank the staff for making our stay memorable. We would love to come back and stay again.
My family and I visited The Curious Fox today for Mother's Day after receiving a recommendation from a client. There were 6 of us and we tried the Sunday carvery. I must say, it exceeded our expectations with a rating of 10/10! The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, the cocktails were amazing, and the atmosphere was lovely. It was also great value for money. We will definitely be making The Curious Fox carvery a regular tradition. Thank you!
Edenmore is a great place to take the family. The ambience of the restaurant is fantastic and the food is great. Great to see the owner (Josh) working so hard! Golf course is heading places as well! In a great place now vs. Courses that would’ve traditionally been good!
Attended an awards event and stayed in one of the new rooms. Everything was first rate. 3 course meal at the awards dinner was excellent considering there were well over 100 people attending. Served professionally and quickly. Room was beautifully kitted out. Very new and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to Order highly recommend the veggie stack. Delicious! Good wifi and plenty of parking.
