The reason for the high rating is 60% based on our waitress Faithy. She was an ABSOLUTE delight. She made great recommendations. Don't get me wrong, the food drinks were GREAT. The redfish lump crab was good. It could have had some more lump crab on the top, but it was good. The hurricane wasn't mixed properly. All the liquor was settled at the bottom, so I got a big gulp of rum in the last few sips but still was goo... View all feedback.
What M Hewitt doesn't like about Red Fish Grill:
Service is great but the menu is limited and very expensive. No wonder they charge so much since it’s right on Bourbon Street. I don’t recommend this place as their prices are astronomical. View all feedback.
The food was fabulous. The menu online does not do it justice. Ike Jackson was our waiter and he was very attentive and entertaining.
What a great restaurant! So much cool energy there and had a lot of fun trying food I'm not really used to. Went with a bunch of friends, short wait, but it was a Friday and so to be expected. So much fun to relax and enjoy in a unique New Orleans eatery. Waitstaff was running around it was crazy but they were pleasant and seemed to have everything under control. Loved it!
This place is a true gem! The food was absolutely delicious. Our waiter Frankie was excellent and all of his recommendations when asked were on spot on! We ordered the appetizer shrimp dish (can’t remember the exact name) was phenomenal! I ordered the shrimp, short ribs and grits oh my word, yummm! The other 3 in my party had fish and were pleased as well. The restaurants signature desert chocolate bread pudding was excellent as well. We will definitely come here again during our next visit!
Jimmy the manager is excellent and was able recommend some venues for later in the evening. Faithey was our server and she was amazing! Her service and attention to detail was outstanding. I highly recommend stopping by if you are visiting New Orleans.
Energetic atmosphere great for groups. Food was good but lacked presentation and no real wow factor. Enjoyed the signature oyster dish.
