What John Goldman doesn't like about La Carreta:
Had the beef dos tacos and they were salty as hell, asked to speak to a manager and they got a person named Carmen who was incredible racist, she ignored me and did everything she could to avoid me. When she did come around she had a bad attitude, laughing with other coworkers at my expense and did nothing to rectify the problem. She was incompetent to the point where i thought she was just a new employee. Shame on t... View all feedback.
Wonderful food with an authentic feel, great service and ambiance! Definitely check it out!
I had never been to this specific location. We have been many times to the original one in Hammond LA. This is a much smaller place than the original one which gives it a nice intimate feel. The service was outstanding I only had takeout but everyone was so pleasant, and the food was outstanding.
Great atmosphere! Great food selection! Great times! Friendly staff!!
Loved dining at the bar with the exceptional service provided by Kiara A. The skinny margarita was delicious and well made by hand (no mixes). The guacamole is AWESOME! I ordered the small portion and it is priced well for the amount you get. The picadillo taco was surprisingly tasty. It’s a fun environment inside and the air conditioning is super cold and comfortable. Vegetarian options: The cauliflower taco with cilantro and onion has a good spice level. Salsa, guacamole and chips is a great appetizer for any meal.
