Mr Waffle Truck Stop - Cowpens

This is now a Huddle House. Wait staff were kind but it took literally 45+ minutes to get a simple breakfast meal and it wasn't even correct. There were 4 tables with patrons. This was an awful experience.

This is now a Huddle House, and it's located at a renovated truck stop. I have never seen a Huddle House anywhere in Spartanburg, but since this restaurant is only 12 minutes from my house, I decided to give it a go. It is just about on par with a Waffle House, but it's got a lot more variety of food; there's jalapeno poppers, buffalo wings, french fries, tater tots. Can't get those at the Waffle House. On the date I wrote the review, I didn't get the fastest service ever, but no one was rude, so that's good. I went for a triple cheeseburger and fries. For the $9, it wasn't too worth it. Portions were a little skimpy. Well, I have some good coupons for this place, so I'm definitely use those next time. I'll be back for a 2nd visit and see what I think of the breakfast and appetizers. No hope is lost yet for the Huddle House.

Stopped here due to an engine problem the repair place in the back... The guy had me there for a week and charged me almost 2K for parts which never materialized. Finally had to get towed to Cummins about 10 miles away to get the work done. Definitely avoid!

Worst ever! Restaurant under construction and truck stop food offerings were dried out and nasty. Never again.
