My partner and I sat at the bar and enjoyed a nice chat with the friendly and personable owner. The restaurant still had that fresh, new feel, which was to be expected. The decor was modern and elegant. We both ordered the roast beef—she had the dinner, and I opted for the sandwich—and we were both very pleased with our meals. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the prices seemed surprisingly low for such high-quality offerings. I'm sure we'll be returning soon!

However, the highlight was definitely the ambiance. The decor was pristine and welcoming, with a lovely patio to relax on and a cozy fireplace to sit by. The wait staff was incredibly accommodating, making for a fantastic experience overall. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone living in or visiting the Greater Cincinnati area. Downtown Covington has discovered a true gem!

The dining area was quite pleasant, and the bar was nice too, featuring a countertop lined with pennies. I ordered the white chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and collard greens. The mashed potatoes were fairly average, likely instant, but still okay. The collard greens seemed like they might have been canned, yet they were well-seasoned and tasty. However, the highlight was definitely the chicken! It was incredibly crispy without being overcooked and perfectly seasoned – just fantastic chicken! My server and bartender, Majorie, who is part of the family that owns the restaurant, was very friendly and ensured I had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place!

From the moment we arrived and were greeted at the door to when we left, expressing our gratitude because everything had been just delightful. 3) **Food**: So delicious that I've been tempted to go back every day since my visit. 4) **Dessert**: The presentation was so beautiful that I almost didn't want to cut into it... but I eventually did. 5) **Price**: Extremely reasonable for the quality of food offered. Some items felt almost underpriced. You have to try this place—whether you run, walk, or crawl there! I would honestly rate it 6 or 7 stars if I could, which would be a first for me. EDIT: I almost forgot to mention—be sure to check out the bar! It's topped with pennies, and it's really cool.

I had some time to spare while my family was at a theater show, and although there are many dining options nearby, Midway really stood out to me. The staff was exceptionally friendly and made the experience genuinely enjoyable, all at very reasonable prices. I ordered an excellent Reuben sandwich and seasoned fries, paired with a beer (they have happy hour until 7 PM). No joke, this place deserves a full 5 stars!
