Contribute FeedbackEishaus in Covington, KY, offers a unique ice cream experience, famously featuring its innovative "spaghetti ice cream" sundae. Despite the excitement surrounding this quirky dish and its potential vegan options, availability may be inconsistent, leaving some eager customers disappointed. While the menu is limited, highlights include excellent oatmilk vegan options and freshly baked goods, garnering praise for their flavor and presentation. Friendly, family-owned service enhances the experience, although some patrons suggest exploring other local vegan ice cream alternatives. Eishaus remains a charming destination for those seeking a delightful blend of creativity and taste.
After a disappointing lunch, I was in need of something sweet. I decided to go for some ice cream, which was just average. However, the baked goods made on site were absolutely delicious. I tried freshly baked pop tarts and a chocolate chip cake, both of which were amazing. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.
On various platforms, including their own website, Facebook page, and Instagram, they promoted a unique "spaghetti ice cream" sundae, some of which were noted as being able to be made vegan. This ice cream is squeezed through a machine to resemble long strands of pasta. It looked and sounded like a special and unique treat, so my friends and I decided to skip other closer ice cream shops to try it here. Unfortunately, when I eagerly asked for the vegan Spaghetti erdnuss, I was told they no longer offered the vegan version and were unsure if the peanut butter sauce was vegan. I ended up having a small scoop of vegan chocolate ice cream and vegan cookies and cream with Oreos on top, which was okay. If I had stumbled upon a vegan ice cream shop in Kentucky by chance, I would have been thrilled. However, I was let down because I was really looking forward to trying something completely new and different. If you find yourself in Covington, KY, I recommend visiting this restaurant. Just be aware beforehand that they may not have the unique item I described, or give them a call beforehand to see if they have reintroduced it. However, if you are specifically looking for vegan ice cream options, there are other places in Cincinnati that may be more convenient for you to visit.
This restaurant is a unique gem in the area with an original concept. It is family-owned and run by very friendly people. Their creative Spaghetti Eis options are a hit, and their vegan ice cream made with oat milk is top-notch. The Schoko vegan flavor is like a party in your mouth. I highly recommend this place!
This charming small ice cream and food shop is perfect for anyone seeking a one-of-a-kind treat. Although the ice cream may have an unusual appearance, the taste is fantastic.
The place was nice and the staff was even better. It was lovely but we were a bit disappointed with our dessert. I was expecting authentic German ice cream but it tasted just like any ice cream I could get from another place. It was overly sweet but the presentation was cute.
