What EXCELLENT!! dislikes about Commonwealth Bistro:
Wasn 't impressed with the preparation of dishes I had ordered. The Escargot in marrow butter served inside a bone was a little over the top. Couldn 't taste the escargot and was greasy. The rabbit prep was good as was the presentation. Not a fan of the smoked taste with this dish. Would have enjoyed much better if was just fried without all the : extra Had no idea what to do with the sauces served with it. View all feedback.
It was very delicious, and not a bad price for all home made food. Definitely wood recommended.
My husband and I were in town on a mini vacation and walked up to the rooftop bar. The bar manager, Christopher, was so friendly and wonderful. The atmosphere was calm, relaxing but still fun and whimsical! I HIGHLY recommend going to see Christopher and indulging in an amazing cocktail! We will definitely be returning.
I love the Daddy playlist, service is extraordinary, Kristian is top notch, 10/10 would recommend!
Amazing food. We found this restaurant by accident while on a road trip in America and I can honestly say it was some of the best food I have eaten in a long time. I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. The staff were excellent. I know some people have mentioned in other posts about it being a little slow which it was however you can see in the kitchen that everything is being cooked fresh and so I'm happy to wait for fresh cooked food.
Of all the places to eat in Mainstrasse this is my favorite. I have been here for everything from special events to brunch and dinner. I have had exactly 0 things that have been bad and several dishes that are extremely good. They will often do daily specials and even with enjoying the menu a lot. I find that their daily specials often to be even better. I have taken my family and everyone agrees this place is extremely above average and has some of the better food we have eaten anywhere.. The
