Great place, reminds me of Japan. Very clean and very friendly staff. The Nigiri Sushi was great and very filling. The Miso was great and the actual tofu chunks were a great sight to see. Definitely a must try and if local I'd be a regular. Arigato Gosaimasu! View all feedback.
What Dorothy Woodbury doesn't like about Yashima In Cov:
Very disappointed. Will not return again online menu is not updated. My mother turned 91 today her pork cutlet soggy due to eggs and onions placed on top instead of to the side. Definitely not the birthday we hoped to give her. View all feedback.
Must try restaurant! Usually visit about 3 times a month. Maybe a little more often in the summer. Hideo is a great chef. Everyone is super nice.
I was excited about this place and wanting to go for a while. It was my first time. I ordered two dishes via my caregiver. He called in my order and picked it up. There were 10 mistakes so I was very surprised and confused when I saw my food. He said he ordered my food correctly and that the lady on the phone didn't really understand him and he didn't clearly understand her either. So I'm giving the benefit of the doubt that there could have been misunderstandings, but not 10. The food was very different than what I ordered and it was his fault for not checking it over. I almost felt like someone was pulling a prank on me or like I was on a hidden camera TV show. I couldn't call to complain or fix the order and he certainly couldn't go back because it was after 9pm. They were already closed. It also was not very close by. I decided to eat the food anyway although very grossed out. I didn't want to starve, spend more money, or waste food. Well about 30 to 45 minutes later, I had explosive #3 in my pants and all over the bathroom. I'm so sick now. I took medication 3xs and I still feel awful. I won't return here ever again and now I have a mess to clean. Yes, I for sure got sick from this food because it's all I had for the day, besides simple water 12 hours prior.
We’ve been coming going on two decades it seems and it’s the freshest sushi around. TheyVe has the same sushi chefs for years and they are super focused on preparing the best We go two to three time monthly!

Sushi was very fresh and tasty. Teriyaki chicken was good, basic. It is a very small place and very loud. The restroom was clean. Average price about $15. Per roll.
