Zorbas is a delightful taste of Greece right here in Coventry. Despite some changes due to the pandemic, the restaurant still offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious dishes reminiscent of traditional Greek tavernas. The service is top-notch, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. While live music was missing during our visit, we were assured that a new Greek musician would soon be performing, adding to the lively atmosphere of the restaurant. From meatballs to souvlaki, the food at Zorbas is outstanding, with flavors that transport you to the streets of Rhodes or Zante. The outdoor seating area is perfect for a party night, complete with Greek wine and traditional Greek dance for added entertainment. The only minor downside was the lack of homemade pitta bread, but overall, Zorbas is highly recommended for an authentic Greek dining experience that will leave you wanting more. Be sure to book a table in advance to avoid any disappointment.

Perfect for a lively evening out, with delicious food and excellent service. Don't miss trying the mezze for a great variety of dishes and Greek wine. And after dinner, have a blast attempting traditional Greek dances - it may be a bit cheesy, but it's guaranteed to bring lots of laughs! View all feedback.
What Arthur Thomas dislikes about Zorbas:
Okay. eating was ok, atmosphere, service ok, price a bit high. I don't think I'm going back. I enjoyed the winery porn, but the huhn kebab was very dry. did not really like to scan a QI code for the menu. View all feedback.
Went in for our greek food hit, Lovely food, service was a little slow but they had a very large table in, so there's only so much the staff can do. Food was great, gutted they ran out of dolmades but everything else was spot on Thank you
We love visiting Zorbas, its a real taste of Greece for anyone hankering for a small reminder of those days sitting in a Taverna enjoying the food of that great country. Like all businesses, Zorbas has had to make some changes to survive the pandemic. They have changed the layout of the restaurant as well as a small part of the menu. Sadley, there was no live music when we visited, although the air was filled with a pleasant background of traditional Greek melodies. Our meal came out very quickly from our order, this was far faster than before. People in our party had meat balls, Saganaki cheese for starter. A couple of Lamb Kleftico's, Xirino Souvlaki and Kotopoulo Souvlaki followed as our main course. The standard was great, a fresh taste, akin to what I have had in the best of Tavena's in Rhodes, Zante, Athens etc. For us, the usual party feeling of live music was missing. Although, the staff said they hope to have a new Greek musician soon, so our next visit will see my wife getting up and dancing with the staff. We cannot recommend Zorba's enough. I find you need to book to avoid the disappointment of not getting a table,
I came here with a group of coworker and my Greek coworker felt it was very authenticIt was a Wednesday night and the restaurant was not busy at all.
My husband and I visited this restaurant on a Friday evening. The service was friendly, but we were disappointed with the food. The starters were just warm and the plates were too small. The mains were rushed and also only warm, with a bland taste. Overall, we were not happy with the quality of the food and would not recommend this place.
The restaurant has declined in quality, the food was better in the past. However, the atmosphere is still enjoyable and it is a great spot for hosting a party.
