The food... read more We visited a restaurant in Coventry city center that we used to frequent, but haven't been to in a while. It was a mix of nostalgia and disappointment. The food was simple, and while we're not big fans of this type of cuisine, we decided to play it safe with the chicken katsu. The dish didn't look very appealing when it arrived, and we even joked that it looked like it had been found in a toilet. However, despite its appearance, the food tasted good and we would consider ordering it again. Perhaps changing the shape of the rice would be a good idea. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, but we stuck with our safe choice of the katsu.

We stumbled upon Wagamama in Coventry on a Monday night, desperate to find hot food for a band rider before they closed. Despite originally wanting to support a small, independent Japanese restaurant nearby, we were turned away due to their early closing time. In a last-minute effort, we turned to Wagamama and were not only accommodated with a late order but also had our food customized to resemble what we had originally hoped for. A special thank you to Diana for going above and beyond to help us out! The food at Wagamama proved to be more authentic than the restaurant we had initially planned to visit, making it a highly recommended spot. Thank you once again for saving the day for us!

We have been dining at Wagamama for over a decade, trying their different locations across the country (almost monthly). From London, Manchester, Cheshire, Birmingham, Norwich and many more, we can confidently say that this is the best one yet! The food was exceptional - the squid was light and crispy, the ramen was flavorful and fresh, and the gyoza was soft yet crispy. It was a true delight! The service was also outstanding, thanks to the amazing chefs and Diana for her kind and warm service. Our son with allergies was catered to without any issues, accommodating his unique preferences. Thank you so much, and we look forward to dining here again soon!
