I understand that... read more I recently visited Poseidon after a long time. I was just looking for a quick lunch for my kids. I paid £14.50 for 2 sausages, pie, and chips. I understand that prices have gone up everywhere, so I'm not complaining about the cost. However, the customer service was really poor. The guy serving me barely acknowledged me and didn't say thank you at any point, not even when giving me my change. It seems like they are too busy to care about being polite. I hope that when the new chip shop opens at the top of Chelysmore, people will realize the bad service they are receiving at Poseidon and choose to go there instead.

It’s so average that during lockd... read more Whilst the food is reasonable, the staff are pure grumpy. They obviously aren’t happy doing what they do, and it comes across. It’s so average that during lockdown I preferred to travel to the Black Country fish bar in West Bromwich rather than deal with Mr. Grumpy and the hilarious old fart who told me I hadn’t shouted through the order correctly. Calm down grandpa . Plus they don’t put enough salt and vinegar on the chips. Stingy and grumpy.

The staff were not weari... read more I arrived at the restaurant and noticed a sign saying only 2 people were allowed in at a time, but there were actually 3 others inside. The staff were not wearing masks or gloves, there was no social distancing, only some of the bar was covered with a barrier, and they only accepted cash payments. The food was mediocre with tasteless fish and soggy chips. I was very disappointed, sorry!
