I only wish we had room for the... read more Many thanks to the chef for our fine family style meal on 12 April 2019. I can still taste the delicious root salad and lasagna. I only wish we had room for the apple pie! I'm still thinking about it. As background for readers, four of us were on a road trip from Bourges to Le Puy en Valle and we decided to stop for lunch. We noted this little roadside restaurant bar in open country and parked. It was a bit after lunch but we were greeted very nicely and sat upstairs. We were told lunch that day was a single 3 course price fixed meal and we just waited as the chef brought out each course. We enjoyed every bit of the simple meal and the hospitality. If you're looking for fine french dining and wide menu selection, this restaurant is not for you. But, If you want a simple french country experience give it a try. I'm still thinking about the apple pie. Oh well, my next visit!
