All accomp... read more The take-away meals prepared by kalamansi allowed us to have a gourmet Christmas meal at home, in complete tranquility for the mistress of the house. All accompanied by his sheet to easily heat dishes (special microwaves) and organize the presentation of plates, for a reasonable price as to the preparation time and the number of ingredients that would have been purchased to make it at home. Even though "going meals", the chef has, as usual, treated his cuisine in flavours and innovation.

Kalamansi is a terrific restaurant. Service, cuisine, and atmosphere all are top notch. I highly recommend it to visitors to the Cotentin Peninsula. read more Kalamansi is a terrific restaurant. An amuse bouche of small toas... read more Probably the best restaurant in Coutances, especially if you love seafood. We went foe the chef's special and very special it was. An amuse bouche of small toast with fennel and smoked salmon. A small bowl of smoked cucumber. Three good sized gambas in batter with cooked basil and tomatoes. Hake on a bed of finely sliced leeks and cabbage in a sabayon, then an apple and lime sorbet to clean the palate, then half pigeon with tiny French beans in a wonderful reduced jus. Dessert was a small brioche caramelised with strawberry jus, strawberries, cream and almond ice cream. Utterly delightful. Mercurey (rouge) was at perfect temperature, attentive professional service , not rushed not slow.

Our set lunch (3 courses) was not only delicious — tasty and delicate — but also very good value. At the first opportunity, we’ll come back for diner.
