Even though we hadn't been in a while, we were not disappointed. The food was still of excellent quality. It's a charming village pub that serves traditional pub fare, all of which is homemade. We both opted for the braised steak sandwiches, which were served with delicious homemade chips, salad, and tasty coleslaw. The menu was diverse and they also had a specials board with main dishes priced between £9-12. The portions were generous and there were also lighter options available for those looking for smaller meals. Our bill for both meals and 2 pints of coke came to around £23, which was worth every penny.

The menu offers a wide variety of options, the food is excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly, making our visits a pleasure. The portion sizes are quite generous and the prices are very reasonable. It's a wonderful spot to unwind, soak in the atmosphere, and savor the delicious food. We have also dined here with both family and friends, and I highly recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends, as it tends to get very busy.

The food was very good and we all enjoyed what we chose...the chips were real chips, not frozen...absolutely delicious and very rare these days! The meals were very good sized portions I couldn 't eat it all, despite how much I was enjoying it!

The food came out quickly and the portions were enormous! If you're looking for delicious chips, this is the place to go - they're properly homemade. Overall, great value for money. Thank you.
