Greggs in Durham is centrally located on Saddler Street, right by the market place. If you are looking for very reasonably priced sandwiches, wraps, pies and cakes, this is the place to be. One can sit in or take it away. The sandwiches and wraps are always very fresh and the coffee is good too. I don't think you could beat the place for basic casual food and value for money. While service experiences vary from friendly banter to moments of inattentiveness, the café's charm lies in its classic Greggs fare. Though cleanliness appears to be an issue at times, patrons appreciate the value and taste of items like their iconic sausage rolls, steak bakes, and coffee.
