What David W doesn't like about Derwent Walk Inn:
Shocking disgrace, arrived with family in order to enjoy a family get-together only to be greeted with men at the bar spouting the most vile disgusting language, the ' C!!!! ' word being but a small part of the abuse. We were not able to stay and quickly left. We will never darken these doors again. We will never darken these doors again. Absolute disgrace. The food was OK, though this was not what I would describe as over whealming in terms of welcome, there was not much chance in getting caught up in conversation, though the chef singing Bohemian Rhapsody in the kitchen was a highlight. Decent value for money, above average food. View all feedback.

read moreDespite some negative experiences with unruly patrons and less-than-stellar takeaways, this pub offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. From a satisfying Sunday lunch to generous portions and accommodating service, it seems the establishment has much to offer. With a strong emphasis on friendly service and tasty meals, many patrons have enjoyed their experiences at this countryside retreat. While there have been some hiccups with service and rowdy customers, the overall consensus is positive for those seeking a cozy pub with good food and welcoming staff.
