Unfortunately,... read more I used to love this fish and chip shop but recently it has really declined in quality. We ordered fish bites, chips, mushy peas, and curry sauce. Unfortunately, everything was extremely greasy, to the point where it leaked through the packaging on our way home. The chips had a strange bitter taste, the fish bites were soggy, the mushy peas were watery, and the curry sauce was like jelly. The portion sizes were good and the staff were friendly, but I won't be returning after spending £24 on a meal that ended up in the bin.

The oil in which the batter was cooked was dark brown instead of golden and very greasy.
