At 8:20, we received a phone call to check if the driver was lost. It turns out the driver had an accident, so our delivery would be delayed. We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, after three more phone calls and over an hour and 15 minutes past the original delivery time, we had to go outside and direct the driver. We requested a refund but only received excuses. Save yourself the trouble and avoid ordering from this restaurant!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I placed an order through just eat that said 50 minutes. After getting a message an hour later it’s said my good was with the driver. Af... read more DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I placed an order through just eat that said 50 minutes. After getting a message an hour later it’s said my good was with the driver. After 40 minutes my meal still was not here. I called the restaurant and was told sorry the driver is running late and it would still be another 20 minutes. After 35 minutes my food arrived and was stone cold. I called up and was told sorry. I said this isn’t acceptable it had bee out with the delivery driver for over an hour and 10 minutes. He then said 2 minutes and put the phone on the side for over 5 minutes whilst I could hear him chatting and dealing with other customers whilst leaving me on the phone. They offered to do me a fresh one but by this point it half 8 and Christ knows when I would have received it so I said no this is not acceptable and was offered a full refund. Having not received this I have this evening spoken to them where I was told I would not receive a refund as k did not give back the food. I said well no I put it in the bin. He said I had to give it back and I need to go through just eat. I said I was not informed of this and he kept telling me I was in the wrong and I’m a liar as my food wasn’t with the driver for as long as I said I told him I had proof and he was questioning me on how. Was shouting over me when I was trying to speak. I have gone through just eat for a full refund. I have come off the phone and am shaking at being shouted at by the manager. POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They should be ashamed of themselves. Looking at other reviews it doesn’t redeem I’m the only one to have experienced this.
