Kombs Beef - Countryside
Kombs Beef
Description
Komb's offers a mixed dining experience, with some praising its friendly service and delicious burgers, tacos, and milkshakes. However, a notable number of visitors have expressed disappointment regarding the consistency and flavor of various dishes, especially the hot dogs and beef. While the atmosphere remains welcoming and the parking is ample, care should be taken to manage expectations regarding food quality. Overall, it's a decent choice for comfort food, but diners may encounter variability in their meals.

This afternoon, my husband and I stopped into Hooters after a hard day of plumbing work. I am a bartender/server by trade but worked with my husband for the day. We didn’t get greeted for 10 minutes. After being seated, no service for another 10 minutes. It gets worse but I’ll spare the bad details of another restaurant to show the amazing details of Kombs. We walked in, greeted properly, ordered exactly what we wanted. The food was amazing (as always. Not my first time here) the service was amazing. The cashier went out of her way for us. The restaurant was clean. The cooks are great. If you’re on your lunch break or just want good food, hit up kombs.
It's really disappointing to see that Kombs has become just a memory now. The new owner has removed some of my favorite items from the menu, including their incredible gyros—truly the best I've experienced, especially since I used to work just a short walk from Greek Town. They've also taken away the burgers and Philly cheesesteaks.
This is no longer komb's beef and they no longer have gyros... It's too bad because I was here about a month ago and had a gyros and it was really really good. Poor shame.
