The service was average, and while the food was decent, it felt overpriced. I wouldn’t recommend it, and I'm unsure if we’ll return any time soon.

On the bright side, the restaurant was quiet with few patrons, and the weather was cool and breezy, although that meant we couldn’t enjoy the deck. The staff were friendly, but I had hoped for a bit more enthusiasm for my milestone birthday—perhaps a sparkler on my dessert would have added a nice touch to the customer service. Even a simple strawberry to accompany the sparkling wine would have made a difference. On a positive note, I truly enjoyed my lobster cooked in garlic and butter, though it was served in a more casual pub style along with chips and salad. My friend ordered the linguine with prawns and found it to be rather bland; she pointed out that it was supposed to include chili, but there was hardly any flavor at all. Overall, I think I’ll be looking for a different spot by the beach for my next dining experience.

There was a long wait for the juices, although I do appreciate that they are freshly made. The coffee had a good flavor, but the milk wasn't hot enough, resulting in a lukewarm drink. There's definitely room for enhancement.

The food was beautifully prepared, plentiful, and cooked to perfection, and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend The Blue Duck for any events or weddings; you won't be disappointed.
